We saw many, many movies here, but lately, probably the past couple of years or so. There was a "grand opening" that we were invited to and we loved it. Let me first say, we have been going to IPIC since the day they opened. These 2 kids (servers) were drowning and no one was throwing them a life preserver. I am completely disappointed in how management takes care of it's clients and employees. It took him another 5 min to drop our check, I asked him to wait so I could give him my CC to run so I wouldn't have to wait another 5 min. The server did not come back till we had finished eating what we could choke down. I was in the restaurant/bar industry for 18 years and I could not believe how poorly this place is run. My turkey sliders were dry, the truffle fries were cold, my husbands flatbread had no flavor whatsoever. That is almost an hour from when we arrived. No customer interaction but at least he was keeping the dining area clean. Manager #4 comes out onto the dining floor and starts busing tables, taking out the trash etc. He did, not 1 min later a server came up and asked my friend if she wanted a drink. No one came to our table, I advised my friends who had already been sitting at our table for 10 min to just go to the bar. Our friends came in and decided to join us for a drink. Another couple came in while we were there, sat at the table for 10 min and no one approached they left as well. We gave him our entire order and he brought it to one of the servers. The high top next to us had a couple sitting for 20 min and noone came to help them so they left. He did come to the table about a minute later. I waited 2 min and approached manager #3 and he said I will be right over. Mind you we arrived at 5:55pm I don't like to be rushed and wanted plenty of time to get a round of drinks and use the restroom after we ate. I walked back up to manager #1 and said no one has come to our table now and our movie starts at 7:15. Manager #3 was taking to the 2 waitstaff and I believe he wanted to help, but did not, like he wasn't equipped to serve drinks or food. But I saw Manager #2 behind the bar sweeping and cleaning glasses, manager #1 was talking into her head set and just walking around. Fast forward another 15 minutes (20 total so far) still no server. We were there 5 min before manager #1 came by and gave us menus, stated that a server would be right with us. staffed up for the occasion, they did staff up in the management department. That being said you would think that management would have. Mind you that movie just opened on the Friday 1/24. My husband and I went to IPIC on Saturday 1/25 to grab a bite to eat and see The Gentleman. The last time we received any showtimes updates for the theater was November 19, 2020.
